Celebrating Go Girl’s first members-only event in Chicago!

Talk about a night to remember! I was so happy to be part of Go Girls of Chicago’s first members-only event where we tasted wines from five different countries. What stood out more was that the women that came to the event were some of the most interesting ladies that I might not have met otherwise! From teachers to bloggers, we all shared a common love for travel– and honestly, a lack of sophisticated wine knowledge.

Perhaps that is because we have been too busy enjoying the craziness of hopping on and off buses, learning Spanish, finding eco-lodges, and starting up blogs.

I had to say, Beth Santos probably won the “coolest wine” category, for bringing a plum wine from Japan, but what I will remember the most is sharing a beautiful view of Chicago with a group of lovely ladies who I knew I already had a lot in common with. I am eagerly looking forward to the next event our travel book club at Lovely, Too Bakery! Be sure to check out the event here.
